FACT provides services to approximately 1000 children in Calhoun, Columbia, Dallas, Hempstead, Lafayette, Nevada, Ouachita, and Union Counties, as well as in individual homes and employs over 200 individuals in the South and Southwest region of Arkansas. LOCATION
CAMDEN, ARKANSAS Serve as an advocate and liaison between family and community services and in collaboration with center staff, work to ensure children and families receive comprehensive services according to Head Start Performance Standards. Responsible for providing services to parents of Early Head Start children and expectant mothers. Complete the Family Assessment and develop a plan of action to meet family needs and goals, conduct a minimum of two home visits per year with each family, meet with expectant mothers weekly and conduct home visits after delivery to assist with the transition of the infant into the classroom setting, make referrals and schedule appointments for services, recruit new families for the program, ensure that children are up to date on all health-related issues, maintain child records, and submit reports as required.Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Family Services, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration or a related field plus two years related experience in social services, family services or public administration preferred.
