Job Summary Job Summary The Education Specialist is responsible for supporting students with disabilities in a full-inclusion setting by providing assessment, individualized instruction, and collaborative services. This role includes conducting special education evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The Education Specialist works closely with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design accommodations and modifications that promote student access and success in the general education curriculum. Additionally, the position involves providing direct academic support, overseeing paraprofessionals, coordinating with outside agencies, and contributing to staff development and school-wide initiatives.
