La Quinta by Wyndham 150 Bonita Road Chula Vista, CA 91910 About the Role This is a hands-on, high-impact position supporting both maintenance and housekeeping operations . You'll play a key role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, safe, fully operational, and guest-ready at all times —especially as we continue property-wide renovations. Key Responsibilities-Maintenance Respond promptly to maintenance requests across all departments Perform in-room preventative maintenance to ensure all systems are fully operational Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC (PTAC units), equipment, and tools Complete repairs including painting, drywall, plumbing, and minor electrical work Support renovation projects and special property initiatives Housekeeping & Public Areas Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, walkways, and exterior spaces Assist housekeeping with linen transport, laundry support, and room readiness Clean carpets, floors (including LVT), and exterior areas to brand standards Team & Guest Support Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless operations Communicate effectively with leadership regarding priorities and updates Take ownership of guest concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally

What You Bring Technical Skills:

Experience with basic maintenance (painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical) preferred

Hands-On Ability:

Comfortable using hand and power tools

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 100 lbs Attention to

Detail:

Strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and quality

Flexibility:

Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
