Job Description Christ Church seeks a Spirit-led rector to shepherd our welcoming Episcopal parish of 200+ members and our thriving JK-8 Day School in coastal southern California. Our motto, "Bridging Love and Service," reflects a community grounded in worship, fellowship, and outreach to military families, neighbors across the San Diego region, and partners along the U.S./Mexico border. We seek a collaborative leader marked by humility, compassion, and deep spiritual grounding—one who preaches Christ with clarity, leads worship with excellence (Rite I and Rite II), and offers faithful pastoral care through all seasons of life. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative skills, welcomes newcomers, nurtures youth and family ministries, and deepens our partnership with our Day School. Coming through a season of renewal, we need a rector who builds trust through transparent communication and helps us refine our strategic vision and define our plans for the future.
