$40.00 per hour (before or after school), maximum of 40 hours per month.QUALIFICATIONS
Meet minimum standards for certification as set forth by the West Virginia State Board of Education for a teacher. Background/knowledge in reading and math intervention strategies/Research Based Instructional Strategies as well as various support measures. Good evaluations and/or recommendations from professional associates, employers, and/or supervisors. Ability to communicate effectively with students, school personnel, and parents, and an ability to work cooperatively with others.IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
PrincipalCOORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive training in theMTSS/SAT/504
process and regulations. Follow policy guidelines of special education, attendance, and social/emotional support. Collaborate with school support staff, nursing staff, administration, special education director, attendance director, and school psychologist. Document meetings thoroughly and maintain records in an orderly and effective manner. Analyze assessment data of various sources to determine support and guidance. Oversee scheduling and notification of meetings of parents, staff, and administration. Arrange for coverage or substitute teacher to coordinate having pertinent teachers in attendance of meetings. Fosters a climate of care and support for students and parents. Promotes and maintains positive pupil-teacher-parent relationships. Relay information as appropriate to teachers, support staff, parents, and administration. Strong commitment to help all children succeed. Adhere to the teacher code of conduct. Maintains professional work habits and ensure confidentiality of student records. Participate in training as required attendance to additional training outside designated schedule.
