Our mission is to guide students to love, to learn, and to discern for the glory of God in all areas of life through Christ-centered education that builds wisdom and character with the word of God.
Job Summary:
BCA is seeking a responsible, caring and enthusiastic part-time After-School Care Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate is a passionate and dedicated follower of Christ and is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment where students can complete homework, enjoy recreational activities, and develop positive social skills and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during after-school care hours, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior at all times. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, quiet time, and outdoor play. Monitor and assist students with homework as needed. Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure proper sign-in/out procedures. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration. Enforce school policies and program rules consistently and fairly. Handle minor first aid needs and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Maintain a clean and organized program space.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education, child development, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must pass background check and any required state/federal clearances. Ability to be punctual, dependable, and maintain a calm, positive demeanor.
Schedule :
Monday to Friday 3 hour shift (3:00 - 6:00 pm)
