  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Worker's Compensation Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team.
In this vital role, you will oversee the management of workers' compensation claims, ensuring efficient processing and resolution while providing exceptional support to injured employees and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will help streamline case workflows, facilitate communication between all parties, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced legal environment committed to fairness and efficiency. Responsibilities Independently manage a high-volume workers' compensation caseload from intake through settlement. Conduct thorough interviews with injured employees to gather information Coordinate medical treatment, QMEs, AMEs, depositions, hearings, and trials. Maintain comprehensive case documentation using legal case management systems . Review legal documents, reports, and medical records Draft correspondence, position letters, settlement demands, and case summaries Prepare files for MSCs, hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences. Open, file, amend, and maintain Applications for Adjudication. Assist attorneys with case strategy and development. Supervise and mentor legal assistants Provide great customer service to clients. Skills Minimum 3 years of applicant-side California workers' compensation experience. Bilingual Spanish/English . Thorough knowledge of California workers' compensation law and procedures. Experience handling cases from inception through settlement. Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Experience with case management software and paperless file systems. ( we use meruscase)

$65,000.00
