Clinician Trainee/ Clinician I at Sierra Vista Child & Family Services Print Application Deadline 8/1/2026 11:55 PM Pacific Date Posted 6/24/2026 Contact Sarabjit Claire Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay Range 27.00 - 42.66 Per Hour Length of Work Year 180 Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The Clinician provides comprehensive mental health services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues. This role involves delivering individual and group rehab, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' well-being and academic success. The Clinician plays a critical role in promoting a safe and supportive school environment, addressing students' mental health needs, and fostering their overall development.
Qualifications:
1. Master of Arts or Master of Science degree from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC). 2. BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable 3. One year of experience working with children preferred. 4. Knowledge of community resources preferred. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word. 6. Bilingual preferred. 7. A valid California driver's license is required of staff who have regular driving duties and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency's insurance company.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Operate an agency or personal vehicle for work-related activities which may include, client visits, meetings, trainings, or other agency-related appointments 2. Ensure compliance with driving requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance as required by agency policy. 3. Physical capability to restrain children, lift over 20 pounds, and engage in physical activity including various sports, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, etc. 4.
