LMFT/MSW/Psychologist - Pediatric and Family Specialist

OC Psychology Center has an opening for a child/adolescent counselor (Pre-licensed or licensed) to our team of highly skilled and theoretically diverse psychologists and psychotherapists. We are a small private practice located in Newport Beach, California. A strong background in individual and family therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults is required. Our practice focuses primarily on helping patients improve anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, school problems and family stress. Weekday afternoons and evenings are available as well as weekends if desired. Responsibilities Independently manage a case load of 10-20 patient hours per week. Conduct psychosocial interviews, diagnostic interviews, and mental status examinations. Develop effective treatment strategies and goals. Provide individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and parenting support with children, adolescents, and young adults. Maintain thurough documentation of services provided. Conduct risk assessments. Provide team consultation. Collaborate in other patient connected health care and education providers.
