This position works collaboratively with school staff, families, community partners, and outside agencies to strengthen school-family-community connections and support the academic, social-emotional, physical, and wellness needs of students and families. Responsibilities may include coordinating family engagement, attendance support, wellness services, enrichment opportunities, Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) activities, after school, intersession, and summer programming, garden/agriculture/outdoor learning activities, grant support, partnership development, and facility use coordination. The Coordinator serves as a bridge between the school, families, and community organizations to help reduce barriers, expand student opportunities, and support the district's community school goals. Experience working with schools, students, families, youth programs, community-based organizations, expanded learning programs, or under-resourced communities is desirable.

WORK YEAR

- Friday, 1:00 PM
- 5:00 PM (during school year) / 12 months / 239 days annually (Prorated upon hire)
- Required regional meetings / PD times / summer schedule may result in an edited schedule The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, student-centered, and comfortable working in a small school district environment where strong relationships and teamwork are essential.
This position may include support for family engagement activities, attendance outreach, wellness services, enrichment opportunities, expanded learning programs, garden/outdoor learning activities, grant-related activities, and community partnerships. The Community Liaison / CCSPP Coordinator will collaborate closely with the After School Program and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) staff to develop and support enrichment opportunities for students during the 3:00-5:00 PM program window. These opportunities will be aligned with identified student and family needs, needs assessment data, and the district's community school goals. Examples may include agriculture, gardening, outdoor learning, wellness activities, hands-on enrichment, and other student-centered programs designed to increase engagement, connection, and access to meaningful learning experiences beyond the regular school day. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all district pre-employment requirements, including fingerprint/background clearance, TB clearance, and pre-employment drug screening.
