At COMPASS, we're seeking a dedicated DSP / Coordinated Family Support Specialist who believes in the potential of every person and can celebrate the unique cultures and languages of individuals and their families. Coordinated Family Support, or CFS, is a groundbreaking new service tailored for adults with developmental disabilities who opt to reside with their families. This innovative service assists individuals and their families in coordinating and scheduling essential services and supports, ensuring that each person's unique cultural, ethnic, and linguistic preferences are respected. CFS is all about providing the right support in the right way, in the comfort of one's family home.

Your Duties:

You will support your client's dreams, personal advocacy, and Individualized Support Plan (ISP) goals through teaching life skills. You will also assist with case management, connect clients with generic resources and lead engaging individual and group learning experiences.

Your Qualifications:

Associate's Degree OR 3 years' experience in social work or a human services field Drivers License for at least 3 years AND a clean driving record Working vehicle, valid driver's license, & valid auto insurance Pass criminal background check and drug test (WE PAY!) Eligibility to work in the U.S. CPR and First Aid certification must be completed within 30 days of hire (WE'LL PAY!) •Bonus•You are knowledgeable about disabilities and the Regional Center system
