Overview Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support, crisis intervention, and advocacy to promote child welfare and family stability. Your expertise will help navigate complex situations involving child protective services, behavioral health, and family law, ensuring that vulnerable children receive the care and protection they deserve. Responsibilities Assess the needs of children and families through interviews, home visits, and collaboration with other professionals Develop and implement individualized care plans that address behavioral health issues, family dynamics, and safety concerns Provide crisis intervention and management during urgent situations to ensure immediate safety and stability Advocate for children's rights and connect families with community resources such as childcare, counseling, and legal services Document case progress accurately while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal requirements in family law cases Collaborate with child protective services, healthcare providers, schools, and legal entities to coordinate comprehensive support Manage conflict resolution within families by applying conflict management techniques to foster understanding and cooperation Requirements Proven experience working with children in social work, childcare or related fields Knowledge of child welfare systems, child protective services protocols, and family law procedures Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management to handle emergency situations effectively Excellent conflict management abilities to mediate disputes and promote positive outcomes for families Familiarity with behavioral health issues affecting children and adolescents Ability to communicate empathetically with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism Relevant educational background in social work, psychology, sociology or a related discipline; licensure or certification preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives.
