THIS IS GOOD FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME/PART TIME POSITION DAYS/HOURS
Wednesdays:
10am to 4pm
Fridays:
10am to 4pm We are seeking a highly skilled Case Manager & RSP support services in San Diego. This in-person, part-time 1099 independent contractor role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in special education, assessment practices, and IEP compliance. The position requires managing a caseload, completing academic evaluations (including WJ-IV Tests of Achievement), and documenting all work accurately in Welligent. Candidates must bring 2-3 years of experience working in a school setting performing similar duties. Primary Responsibilities 1. Case Management Manage a caseload , ensuring all timelines and compliance requirements are met. Coordinate with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families regarding student needs. Track assessments, IEP dates, timelines, services, and progress monitoring. Maintain accurate case notes, communication logs, and documentation within Welligent. Support the LEP and school-site team with IEP compliance, academic recommendations, and legal timelines. 2. Rsp support Collaboration & Communication Provide Rsp support to students in the classroom and pull out support Communicate consistently and professionally with school staff and families. Participate in IEP meetings to present academic findings. Provide recommendations aligned with MTSS, RTI, and evidence-based instructional practices. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to support student success. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. Valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subjects, Single Subject, or Education Specialist) in special education 3-5 years of experience in a school setting conducting academic assessments, case management, or special education coordination. Strong knowledge of
IDEA, IEP
processes, education codes, and California compliance requirements. Proficiency in Welligent or SEIS for documentation, logs, and case management. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality reports. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain professional communication. Will need a reference for us to call 1099 position
