EA is a non-profit foster family agency with offices throughout Northern California. We have provided safe and caring homes for foster youth as well as support for our young adults who are transitioning out of foster care for the past 40 years. Responsibilities include crisis planning, providing 24/7 support to stabilize family dynamics, connecting families with community resources and natural supports, and working with the therapist to practice interventions. Family specialists will have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a combination of professional experience and personal insights that enable them to support families, including certification and/or training in family engagement and trauma-informed care. The position offers a starting salary of $24 per hour, with potential for a higher rate depending on your education and experience.
