Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and model healthy relationships between staff and students Oversee student attendance, supervision, and safety Communicate effectively with parents, families, and school day staff Maintain digital and hard copy site-specific database information and reports Oversee storage and upkeep of borrowed classroom space Assist with the organization and use of program materials and inventory Assist with program registration and enrollment Assist with training and managing support staff members
QUALIFICATIONS
Hold or be eligible to obtain a California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit and meet all California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing requirements for employment in a licensed child care program. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Development, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience supervising staff and coordinating programs serving elementary and/or middle school-age youth. Demonstrated commitment to youth development, equity, and empowerment, with experience creating inclusive, developmentally appropriate environments for diverse communities. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Google Workspace and enrollment or student information systems. Flexible, creative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Must pass Live Scan fingerprinting (background check) and provide proof of a negative TB test.
