This is a great opportunity for early-career social workers or those working toward LCSW licensure to gain hands-on inpatient experience in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital setting. This a medical role, not a mental health role. We're looking for more than two years of inpatient, cardiology experience. At an academic medical center would be the cherry on top! Also need someone with recent EPIC experience. Location Palo Alto, CA About the Role This MSW-level role supports patients and families navigatingplex medical conditions in an inpatient setting. You'll partner with interdisciplinary teams to provide psychosocial support, care coordination, and discharge planning. This role required recent inpatient hospital experience and EPIC proficiency, along with the ability to start quickly. This a medical role, not a mental health role. We are looking for more than two years of inpatient, cardiology experience. At an academic medical center would be ideal. Pay The anticipated wage for this position is between $51 and $55 per hour. Hourly rate depends on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. What We're Looking For 2+ years of inpatient hospital experience in a cardiology setting EPIC experience is required Ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-based setting Strongmunication, assessment, and documentation skills Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program OR within 45 days ofpletion If pending graduation, must provide program confirmation and obtain MSW within 45 days of hire What You'll Do Conduct biopsychosocial assessments Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support Coordinate care and discharge planning Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams Connect patients and families withmunity resources Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Manage a caseload in a fast-paced inpatient environment Why This Role Work in a top-tier academic medical center Build strong inpatient clinical experience Gain exposure toplex cases and multidisciplinary care Clear pathway toward LCSW and advanced clinical roles

Pay Details:
