Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) Program Instruction
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the ELOP Coordinator works collaboratively with the community school coordinator, liaisons, school leadership teams, teachers, families and community members to improve children's academic achievement, strengthen family functioning, increase family involvement in their children's education and communities, and make the school an inclusive and welcoming place. The ELOP Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the after school program and summer program for the district. The ELOP Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with administration, faculty, staff, and students as the"community organizer" of the school and extended day. The ELOP Coordinator will create, strengthen, and maintain the bridge between the school day and extended day/summer and facilitate and provide leadership for the collaborative process and development of a continuum of services for children, families and community members within the school districts.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Program Planning and Implementation:
Develop and deliver instructional activities that support the ELOP curriculum and objectives. Create lesson plans and instructional materials that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with academic standards. Coordinate with other instructors and staff to integrate various subjects and activities into the program.
Student Engagement and Support:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet students' diverse needs and learning styles. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their academic and personal growth.
? High School Diploma or GED required ? Must be NCLB compliant. Must posses one of the following: forty-eight (48) college semester units, AA Degree or higher, or pass District NCLB Paraeducator Test.
