Salary Range:

What You'll Do:
Act as a liaison and facilitate communication between family/parent, school community and/or Office of Family and Community Engagement Assist families in advocating for their children Provide interventions with families as needed to empower them to obtain necessary services Support and coordinate adult and youth class at the Center for Family Opportunity (CFO) Assist families with information about school and community resources Ease the integration into Denver Public Schools for those families who are new to our community and have special needs Support Key FACE and School initiatives including Literacy Nights, SPACE Trainings and coordination of services of the Center for Family Opportunity (CFO) Research and develop materials for use in parent/family/volunteer training Assist parents in navigating, trouble shoot and help parents problem solve on behalf of their child as they work with school staff Provides transportation on the small 15-passenger activity bus for events and classes at the Center for Family Opportunity (CFO)
What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field, preferred. At least 3+ years of related experience in community work or a related field. Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
