Job Description

All employees of Bridgeport Hospital are part of the patients care team and contribute to the team approach of promoting access, continuous, comprehensive care and work to provide quality improvement in the care provided to their patients. Provides Social Work services to the hospital's patients and their families. Services are designed to address psycho-social and environmental factors which impact on the functioning and/or recovery of the patients and families. EDUCATION
Master of Social Work Degree from an accredited school. UCONN School of Social Work/ Specialty Certifications in Palliative Care/ Hospice and Geriatrics. Certifications in several behavioral specialties including CBT/DBT/ EMDR and Trauma. Supervisory Certificate for both students and clinicians.EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years of full time work in a clinical position working under the LCSW license. At least 3-5 years in the role of supervisor and/or manager. Current licensure in the state of CT. Experience and knowledge of behavioral health social work and treatment.LICENSURE LCSW/ AHPC-SW/ AGC/SW SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to clinically supervise and mentor LMSW's and students. Ability to triage cases as needed to assess for higher level of care. Knowledge of community resources. Ability to coordinate with other disciplines as needed for patient care. YNHHS RequisitionID 176473
