West Haven, CT Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need of support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to improve student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning Connect families with community resources and support services Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution Support attendance improvement and behavioral intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker Connecticut Certification in Social Work (071) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Why Join Us?
