Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, this position is responsible for assisting members of the Advancement team with operational support to help deepen the engagement of key stakeholders and constituents of Beauvoir, including alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and current parents. The base hours of this position are 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. weekdays with some weekends (4 or less) and some weeknights (12 or less) throughout the school year.Hourly Range:
$25.00 - $30 per hour depending on education and experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
Provide event and initiative support: Serve as a logistical support for all events and initiatives run by the Advancement Office, as well as the Beauvoir Parents Association volunteers. This includes implementing event plans, schedules, materials, and on?site or pre?event support.Support donor acknowledgment and stewardship:
Help ensure donors are thanked promptly and appropriately by coordinating mailed acknowledgments, stewardship materials, and related documentation.Maintain accurate constituent data:
Update and verify contact information based on data received from postal mail, online forms, and event registrations to help keep the school's external constituent database accurate and up to date.Assist with school calendar:
Coordinate event forms to ensure events, deadlines, and initiatives are accurately scheduled and communicated.Manage Logo Store orders:
Process, organize, and fulfill orders for school?branded merchandise, including tracking inventory and coordinating distribution as needed.Coordinate yearbook content and distribution:
Act as the central point of contact for collecting and organizing content for the school yearbook, ensuring deadlines are met and overseeing timely distribution once published.Prepare constituent profiles:
Compile and organize background and engagement information on donors, families, or other stakeholders for use by Advancement staff.EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Responds to employee and volunteer requests and performs other customer service functions. Provides clerical support and performs other duties as assigned. Participates in other school activities including (but not limited to) covering lunch duty periodically, working with a "buddy" class, participating in school-wide training and planning, and professional development.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience in development/fundraising, or other relationship-building areas in an educational institution or non-profit. Knowledge of Raiser's Edge, preferably Raiser's Edge NXT, as well as Blackbaud K-12 software and event management systems is preferable. Knowledge of auction software packages like OneCause also desirable. Experience in an independent school preferred.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
