Candidates must have experience working with individuals with mental health challenges, histories of complex trauma, substance abuse, domestic violence and medical and developmental needs. As a Resource Coordinator/Alumni Services Coordinator at the Lotus House, you will help assure that the standards of care and quality of services established by the Foundation are met and you will also counsel, guide and assist women who are guests of the Lotus House to empower them to fulfill their action plans for improved quality of life, greater self-sufficiency and transition to alternate independent or supported permanent housing. Your services will include, without limitation: (i) Individual coaching, educating and advising women and families about available services, tools and resources to empower them to fulfill their action plans, all in accordance with the standards of care, policies, procedures and guidelines established by the Foundation; (ii) In depth case management, social services linkages, and advocacy in regard to the full range of services and benefits offered in the community for women and children served; (iii) Tracking and reporting individual progress toward the fulfillment of their action plans and compliance with such standards; (iv) Follow-up resource coordination, services and activities to assist women and children who have exited the program to ensure their continued success; (v) Manage and maintain the alumni services email account, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses to inquiries. Primary point of contact for alumni communications and supports alumni engagement initiatives; (vi) Assisting in documenting, reporting and compliance with the Homeless Management Information Systems, grants, funding agreements and other contracts, insurance policies and agreements of the Foundation, as well as compliance with applicable laws, including fire safety procedures; and (vii) Establishing networks, alliances and working relationships between the Foundation and other community organizations for accessing available services and resources in the community. Must be committed to helping improve the lives of women and children in the Miami-Dade community by working in a high-paced residential environment. Lotus House Women's Shelter is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women, youth, and children. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Drivers License and ability to be insured at no additional cost
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Sheets, and Electronic Health Systems
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Experience providing services to high need individuals
• Work Schedule
• Tuesday
• Saturday
• with two evening shifts or Sunday
• Thursday
• with two evening shifts.

Option to choose between:

1) 5 day schedule (8 hours a day for 5 days) Full benefits provided after 90 day probationary period including paid vacation, holiday's and sick time, paid maternity/paternity leave, short term disability, paid health, vision and dental insurance.
