Salary:
Starting at $55,000 ~ Final Compensation dependent on experience, language skills, impact potential, etc.

Job Summary:
DLC is excited to offer a community-based clinical opportunity to work with our Drug Court Clients! We are looking to select a compassionate clinician with Substance Use Disorder & Drug Court experience professionally to support our Clients as they navigate this system and re-entry into the community towards the life they want and deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing assessments, treatment plans and case reviews for adult substance use population.
  • Facilitating group and individual therapy sessions.
  • Carefully managing Urine Screenings.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary staffing.
  • Effective workload management and service coordination.
  • Deft management of various clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Attending weekly Staff meetings that cover various disciplines.
  • Working closely with professionals in the Legal and Drug Court fields.
  • Handling clinical services in a way that respects the DLC Charter.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in psychology, social work, behavioral science or related area of study = Required
  • Two or more years related experience (working with the adult substance use disorder population) = Required
  • Exceptional and intuitive track record in assessing client needs = Required
  • Efficient, empathetic and evocative communication skills = Required
  • Accurate reporting and record keeping skills = Required
  • Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures and protocol = Required
  • Spanish Bilingual = Preferred But NOT Required
  • Current State of Florida Driver's License with clean record and ability to travel locally = Required
  • Natural ability to work well with a diverse group of peers, coworkers and community partners = Required
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred
  • Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
  • Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check =
Required Physical Requirements:
This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
