Job Description

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a full-time Social Worker - MSW to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This position will provide support to patients and families in our pediatric speciality clinics.
Schedule:
Full-time position, 40 hours Monday-Friday. Normal business hours.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) More than 1 year experience required; graduate school internship may be applied to job-related experience Social Workers are required to be eligible and required to be a Registered Licensed Clinical Social Work Intern with the
Florida Board of Social Work Primary Responsibilities:
Psychosocial assessments (Whole Child), interventions and support required for critical patient care. Provides support for patients and their families assisting with emotional, personal, psychological, and socioeconomic factors along with adjustment to illness issues. Daily management of patient care needs Linkage to community resources, facilitate referrals to private, state and federal agencies bases on psychosocial needs. Documents social work interactions in EPIC in a timely matter. Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, social work and mid-tier huddles. Provide protective (Mandatory Child Abuse reporting) and advocacy services Consults and collaborates with interdisciplinary colleagues involved either directly or indirectly with the case and treatment of patients and their families.
