Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Hotline Advocate to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking support related to child welfare, family concerns, and crisis situations. Your energetic approach will help create a safe, supportive environment where callers feel heard, understood, and empowered. By providing immediate assistance and connecting callers with appropriate resources, you will play a crucial role in promoting the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. Responsibilities Respond promptly and empathetically to incoming calls from individuals in crisis or seeking guidance on child protective services or family law issues Assess caller needs through active listening and crisis intervention techniques, ensuring safety is prioritized Provide information about child welfare policies, childcare options, behavioral health resources, and conflict management strategies Document all interactions accurately within our case management system, maintaining confidentiality at all times Collaborate with social workers, legal professionals, and community organizations to facilitate appropriate referrals and follow-up support Manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness during crisis management scenarios Educate callers on available services and empower them with actionable steps toward resolution or safety planning Requirements Prior experience working with children or in child protective services is highly desirable Strong background in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques Knowledge of child welfare systems, family law, and behavioral health practices Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy and clarity Ability to remain composed under pressure while managing conflict effectively Demonstrated understanding of social work principles and conflict management strategies A genuine passion for supporting families and advocating for children's safety Join us in making a meaningful difference! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
