Extended Day Worker Shorecrest Preparatory School - 3.7 Saint Petersburg, FL Job Details Part-time $17 - $20 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Student supervision High school diploma or GED Working with students Full Job Description Essential Functions Maintain attendance according to division-specific regulations Provide excellent supervision of children throughout their time in extended day, using physical presence and child-centered language to ensure safety and appropriate behavior Supervise indoor and outdoor activities Greet parents as they sign out their children Maintain cleanliness of space according to division-specific regulations Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs Follow directions given by the Director of Auxiliary Programs Qualifications Lower School Program (ages 5-10) High school degree or GED preferred Degree in education or working towards a degree in education preferred Experience working with school age children preferred Good verbal skills with students, colleagues and parents Work in a highly involved environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts Able to use basic office equipment, technology and web based tools Supports Shorecrest's mission and core values Physical Requirements and Work Environment Be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
