In addition, the Sr. Case Coordinator will be responsible for casework oversight and additional duties as directed by the Team Coordinator. The CPT Sr. Case Coordinator will be available on-call for emergencies after regular working hours and on weekends in rotation with the other Case Coordinators on the team. In the absence of the Team Coordinator, the Sr. Case Coordinator will be the acting Team Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another behavioral science. At least three years of experience working within the Child Protection Team as a Case Coordinator and not currently under supervision via a waiver of experience or education. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to work with other professionals and non-professionals. Highly sensitive to the needs and welfare of children. Highly self-motivated, and able to work independently when required. Available to work flexible hours to meet needs of clients.
Other Quality Ranking Factors:
° Ability to communicate effectively with children and adolescents, ranging in age from infants to 17 years of age. ° Academic training or practical experience in and knowledge of developmental stages of children and the dynamics and effects of child abuse. ° Disposition toward multi-disciplinary team approach to the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. ° Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ° Knowledge and Use of appropriate Professional Ethics and Standards. ° Leadership skills Duties include, but are not limited to: Intake of initial referral to CPT for assessment services, assignment of cases as they are received, case reviews as needed, and casework oversight in absence of Team Coordinator. Interview children, family members, and significant others as needed to obtain medical and social information. Complete assessments and send reports to the protective investigator within the time frames consistent with program requirements and best practice. Coordinate client services and referral to community agencies as needed. Arrange for and conduct team staffings and participate in the development of the recommendations. Provide depositions and court testimony. Maintain client records; conduct training in the community for professional staff and others, as designated by the team coordinator in cooperation with the Training Coordinator and assist in the coordination of medical exams as needed. Available to work flexible hours including on-call availability to meet the needs of clients. Successful completion of continuing education standards that include a minimum of eight hours of training per year in child abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Attend and participate in relevant Kids House staff meetings and attend and participate in relevant Kids House trainings. Complete MDT Facilitation Training. Facilitate Peer Reviews of Interviews on a weekly basis. Participate in multi-disciplinary staffings, in-service trainings, evaluation activities, and any other forum that affects the child/family. Demonstrate leadership abilities by successfully drafting CPT protocols and supervisions for team staff, lead new initiatives, and participate in client and/or fund-raising events sponsored by Kids House or CPT.
