This role is responsible for supervising staff and children, implementing engaging curriculum and activities, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and building positive relationships with families and school personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily program operations and staff scheduling Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios and child safety Lead engaging educational, recreational, and fitness activities Develop and implement monthly lesson plans Maintain attendance, documentation, and program records Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and YMCA leadership
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older CDA, TCC, or higher education credential required Experience working with youth and supervising staff Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety certifications (or ability to obtain) Reliable transportation
