Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Site Coordinator with Communities In Schools of Glynn County, where you will play a vital role in empowering students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly within schools, collaborating with educators, families, and community partners to create a supportive environment that fosters student achievement. Your leadership and organizational skills will help ensure that students receive the resources and guidance they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact within schools for students, staff, families, and community partners to coordinate support services effectively. Develop and implement individualized plans to address students' academic, behavioral, and social needs by connecting them with appropriate resources. Facilitate communication between school staff, families, and community organizations to promote student engagement and success. Organize and oversee student meetings, workshops, and activities designed to build skills and boost motivation. Monitor student progress through data collection and reporting, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize positive outcomes. Maintain detailed records of student interactions, services provided, and progress reports in compliance with program standards. Collaborate with school personnel to foster a welcoming environment that encourages student participation and growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field Proven experience working with students in educational settings or community programs. Strong background in education administration or program coordination within schools or community organizations. Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, families, educators, and community partners. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse student populations through inclusive practices. Knowledge of educational best practices and experience in teaching or working directly with students is preferred.
