School-Based Social Worker - Woodstock, Georgia

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract A part-time Social Worker opportunity is available in a school setting, supporting young students with behavioral needs. This contract position is based in the Woodstock, GA area, at an elementary school serving K5 students.

Responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload of approximately 24 kindergarten-age children across four classrooms. Supporting students with moderate to intensive behavioral challenges. Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized plans. Providing counseling, intervention, and support services tailored to each child's needs. Participating in planning sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Educator Certification is required. Previous LCSW experience in a school or educational setting is strongly preferred. Ability to work part-time hours totaling approximately 15 per week. Strong skills in managing behavioral support for young children.
