Early Head Start Home Visitor -IPERS

Provide developmentally appropriate anti-bias activities that involve the parents in encouraging their children's creativity, spontaneity and inquisitiveness, using the family home as the primary learning environment. • Provide health, nutrition and social service information. • Aid the family and parents in the direction of the learning experience and the enhancement of the children's social skills and self-esteem while increasing their mental and physical skills.

Position Requirements:

• Home Visitor CDA (Level 5) Home-Based CDA Credential (or attainment of CDA within 12 months of hire) Home Visitor I (Level 6) Associate's Degree in Child Development, Social Work, Family Science or related field Home Visitor II (Level 8) Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Social Work, Family Science or related field Bilingual preferred but not required.
