Make a Global Impact Right in Your Community with Youth for Understanding (YFU)! Are you passionate about connecting young people to the world? Youth For Understanding is looking for enthusiastic Local Coordinators to help lead youth exchange programs. You'll work with local schools and communities to create a memorable international experience for students—bringing the world closer together! Ready to bring global connections to your community?

  • Recruit new Host Families
  • Provide guidance and support to students and host families
  • Organize cultural and educational activities
  • Be a friendly face for international youth visiting your community What makes you a perfect fit:
  • Passion for international exchange (did you study abroad or host an international student?)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A love of working with young people
