Job Description

SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team at Oregon Trail Elementary School as a Lead Community-Based Resource Specialist (CBRS). This full-time position is designed for someone passionate about supporting students and their behavioral success. The Lead CBRS will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being, RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to identify student needs and create individualized support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify barriers to student success and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, interventions, and resource referrals.
  • Participate in school meetings, committees, and community outreach events to promote awareness of available resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to other CBRS team members, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal resources available to families and students, and share this information with the school community.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work,or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
  • Experience in a school setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience as a community based rehabilitation services (CBRS) worker This is an "at will" position in that the employer may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
The employment "at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District 411. All recommendations for hire are tentative offers. Employment is contingent upon Board approval and successful completion of a federal background check and drug-free workplace pre-employment screening.
