Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Social Worker, with credentials suitable for school settings Previous experience in educational, behavioral health, or youth-focused environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families Compassionate demeanor and ability to relate to diverse student populations Experience conducting evaluations and developing effective support plans Proficiency in navigating confidentiality guidelines and educational policies
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with educators and families to promote students' social, emotional, and academic success Engage with small groups of students, addressing specific needs and fostering stronger peer relationships Perform and document approximately 45 student evaluations, providing recommendations and strategies for support Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual and group needs Serve as a resource for crisis management, mental health awareness, and behavioral support within the school community Maintain accurate, timely records and communicate progress to necessary stakeholders Embrace the chance to guide students on their paths to personal growth and learning success.
