School-Based Social Worker | Champaign, Illinois ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Champaign, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $29.55 - $59.55 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications School experience Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in social work to a dynamic educational setting dedicated to supporting K-12 students. With five openings at a 4 FTE total, flexibility is available—combine two part-time roles to create a full-time equivalent that fits your schedule and lifestyle. Desired Qualifications:
Hold a valid professional license or certification as a School Social Worker (state-specific certification required). Demonstrated experience or strong interest supporting K-12 populations. Ability to adapt caseloads and responsibilities according to student needs and your professional strengths. Effective communication skills, collaborating well with students, staff, and families. Familiarity with diverse student populations and a commitment to culturally responsive practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students across multiple grade levels. Coordinate interventions and plans in partnership with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies. Conduct individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and assessments as needed. Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations. Advocate for student resources, connect families to community supports, and help facilitate an inclusive learning environment.
