Job description School Social Worker - Chicago Metro Area. Our client is seeking out amazing Social Workers in and around the Chicago Metro Area who want to make a profound difference in the lives of students by empowering them to succeed and achieve their dreams.

SUMMARY:

Develop intervention strategies to increase academic success. Provide individual, group, and family counseling as well as crisis intervention. Assist in developing positive behavioral intervention strategies. Obtain and coordinate community resources to meet student's specific needs. Collaborate and consult with other staff as well as provide training when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree from an accredited institution. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL). Valid School Social Worker endorsement. What to expect from
