at Amergis in East Moline, Illinois, United States Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs within a school-based setting. This individual will collaborate with educators and a multidisciplinary team to help students succeed academically and personally through targeted interventions and support services. Key Responsibilities + Provide social-emotional support to students in the school environment + Conduct social casework evaluations for initial and re-evaluations + Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and IHPs + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff + Identify and address students' social and emotional challenges + Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines Minimum Requirements + Professional Educator License ( PEL ) with School Social Worker ( SSW ) endorsement + MSW or LCSW may be required based on district or contract requirements + Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred Qualifications + Experience working in a school setting + Strong collaboration and communication skills + Ability to manage caseloads and conduct evaluations Assignment Details + Work closely with a multidisciplinary team + Participate in evaluations, re-evaluations, and intervention planning + Opportunities for professional development Licensure Note + Illinois offers licensure reciprocity support for candidates who have completed required exams in their current state Interview Process + Interview with school or district leadership Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs •Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
