Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners with your expertise as a school social worker. Work within an engaging and collaborative educational environment, providing crucial social-emotional guidance to students in Pre-K through third grade. You'll make a meaningful difference for children, families, and school staff—building foundational skills that last a lifetime. This full-time assignment spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, running from August 11, 2026, through May 30, 2027. You'll serve a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide comprehensive support. Qualifications Active School Social Work (SSW) credential Professional Educator License (PEL) Previous experience serving elementary or early childhood students preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively manage diverse needs and maintain documentation Key Responsibilities Deliver social-emotional interventions and counseling for Pre-K and K-3 students Develop individualized plans and monitor student progress Work in tandem with teachers, families, and outside providers to meet student needs Serve as an advocate and resource for children and their families Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate What You'll Enjoy You'll benefit from highly competitive compensation—$45 to $60 per hour, based on experience.
