Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting high school students' well-being for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity involves working full time in a single school setting serving grades 9 through 12, making a direct impact on students' lives by providing essential social work services.
Key Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Social Worker with demonstrated experience in a school-based environment Background working with high school-aged students, ideally grades 9-12 Skills in social-emotional learning (SEL) coordination or program implementation Proven success collaborating with internal school teams and outside agencies Exceptionally strong communication and relationship-building skills
Primary Duties:
Address social work needs of both 504 and general education students throughout the academic year Actively participate in 504 team meetings to advocate for student support plans Coordinate and manage SEL screener information for the entire student population, ensuring that data informs targeted interventions Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with community organizations and outside agencies to amplify students' access to resources and services The contract runs from August 2026 through May 2027, offering the structure and stability to make a sustained difference.
