The social worker collaborates with teachers, staff and families to promote and support social-emotional progress in accordance with Individual Education Programs (IEP's). The social worker serves as a liaison between the school, home and community agencies, and is an integral part of the crisis intervention team. Must have experience servicing autistic students. Candidate must have a PEL license in social work from the Illinois, have a master's degree in social work and be registered by the Council on Social Work Education. Duties include, but are not limited to: Participation in multidisciplinary evaluations and eligibility determinations Provide recommendations regarding educational programming and related services Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Support behavior interventions systems throughout the school Maintain confidentility and professional boundaries Participate in school wide initiatives that promote student success and positive school culture Have knowledge in trama-inforced care, and social emotional learning prctices Be knowledgeable of special education laws and regulations

$72,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
