Qualifications & Desired Background:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required Valid and current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Work endorsement Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Strong crisis intervention and problem-solving capabilities Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within school communities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized support and intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote students' overall well-being Provide individual and group counseling to students facing challenges Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community agencies Support crisis intervention efforts and facilitate referrals to appropriate resources Document services, maintain records, and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Experience a rewarding contract role in an engaging educational environment, surrounded by dedicated professionals committed to student success.
