  • Part-time Join the team of our vibrant, growing church by directing the ministries for children and families.
The Director of Children and Family Ministries works with volunteers, parents, and other staff to ensure a stimulating, caring, nurturing environment where the infants and children of the church are educated about God, scripture, and community through engaging Sunday School, week-long Vacation Bible School in the summer, and additional age-appropriate events throughout the year. In conjunction with Ministers, Staff, and Volunteers, this person directs additional multi-generational activities for families throughout the program year, building teams, promoting events, managing sign-ups, overseeing appropriate budgetary requests and expenditures, and dreaming of ways to continue to grow and build these ministries and engagement.
Knowledge and Required Skills:
Three years of prior experience teaching preferred Strong communications skills, both verbally and written Strong computer skills
  • proficiency with Canva and Google Suite Demonstrate a high level of trust
