Family Services Coordinator - Rock Island Arsenal (Part-time) Keystone Counseling Club Rock Island, IL Job Details Part-time $25 - $30 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Bachelor's degree Psychology Newsletters (communication methods) Lesson planning Human Services Social Work Full Job Description Keystone Counseling Club Inc is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) federal contractor seeking a part-time Family Services Coordinator to deliver Family Advocacy Program (FAP) services for military families at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. What you'll do: Lead weekly 2-hour parent/child playgroups for military families with children ages 0-5 (Discovery Time program) Plan and facilitate monthly group activities for service members and their children (~60 participants) Distribute monthly parenting education materials via social media, newsletters, and informational tables Conduct quarterly parenting classes on the installation Submit monthly lesson plans and after-action reports to the Army's Family Advocacy Program Manager Conduct bi-annual needs assessments You're a great fit if you have: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or family services 2+ years experience working with parents, children, and families Parent Educator certification (Parents as Teachers, Healthy Families America, or similar) — training sponsorship available if not yet certified Familiarity with military culture/lifestyle U.S. citizenship (required for federal background check)
