Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real difference in the lives of elementary students as a contract school social worker at two vibrant learning environments near Saint Charles, IL. This onsite opportunity offers the chance to support students, families, and educators in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere focused on growth and well-being. With start and end dates from mid-August to early October, you'll enjoy a meaningful role at the beginning of the academic year. Your workweek will consist of 32.5 hours, running from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a well-deserved 30-minute duty-free lunch. You'll manage a dedicated elementary caseload spread across two schools, supporting four specialized classrooms: two serving students with Autism and two for those with intellectual disabilities.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements for school social work Experience supporting students with Autism and intellectual disabilities is strongly preferred Previous work within elementary educational settings and/or multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills Flexibility and compassion for student-centered work
