Qualifications:

Must hold a state-issued School Social Worker license or certification in the state of Illinois. Must hold IL PEL in School Social Work Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program. Active state social work licensure (such as LMSW or LCSW), as required by the state. School-based experience is preferred but not required.

Skills & Abilities:

Provide social work services that support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized support plans. Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based interventions. Serve as a resource to school staff and families, including crisis intervention support and referrals to community resources. This position is available to be filled immediately.
