Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact each day as a dedicated social worker supporting students across Pre K-12th grade during the 26-27 school year. In this full-time contract opportunity, you'll work within a vibrant educational setting, collaborating with staff, families, and community resources to ensure the social and emotional well-being of students.
Desired skills and experience:
Master's degree in social work from an accredited program Valid and current state social work licensure appropriate for schools Previous experience in an educational setting or with children and adolescents Strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of community resources and support systems Key responsibilities: Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to develop individualized intervention plans Provide both one-on-one and group support to students, addressing social and emotional challenges to enhance learning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to advocate for student needs and support overall well-being Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services provided Consult with community agencies and connect families with relevant support services Contribute to school-wide programs promoting a positive climate, social skills, and mental health awareness This role offers the satisfaction of making a real difference in students' lives, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work in a welcoming educational environment.
