Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. This contract role supports a caseload typically consisting of three classrooms, serving fewer than 30 students. The position may involve working across two school locations, providing targeted social work services to students with communication development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver social work services aligned with the goals of the Communication Development program. Collaborate with educational staff to support student social, emotional, and behavioral development. Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling as appropriate within the assigned caseload. Coordinate with families, teachers, and other professionals to enhance student success. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid license as a school social worker. Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) required. Experience working as a school social worker, specifically within special education or communication development settings preferred. Must not hold certification as a school counselor. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school teams. Ability to manage multiple classrooms and potentially work across more than one school location.
