This position is housed in a day therapeutic program where you'll work closely with three classrooms: two focused on Elementary Emotional Disabilities (ED) and one on Elementary Autism. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping positive school experiences, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff. This hands-on position provides an incredible chance to build your resume as you gain exposure to a variety of educational settings and inspiring leadership styles—all while enjoying a structured schedule from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM with a half-hour lunch break.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and current state licensure appropriate for schools Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability and passion for working with elementary students with emotional and developmental needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver social work services within assigned elementary classrooms Develop and implement individualized support plans for students in therapeutic day program Collaborate with educational teams and families to promote student growth Document and track student progress and interventionsOutstanding Benefits:
