Duties Help Supports the psychological health team in developing and executing an annual BH program stregy. Develops relionships with military and community groups to enhance prevention efforts and expand available BH resources. Coordines and implements prevention and educion programs. Conducts clinical screening, evaluion, and consultion services. Builds efficient processes to manage BH referrals and case management services. Conducts populion-based behavioral health surveillance to examine trends and further develop targeted prevention and mitigion stregies. Provides consultion, educion, and training to military and non

• military health care professionals concerning behavioral health policy, psychological fitness, and primary and secondary prevention programs.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT

Current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 stes, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands

BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT

Master's Degree:

Social Work. ( Must fulfill all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Educion.)

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Must have 24 months of experience in clinical social work assignments. Completion of the Air Force Social Work Internship Program may be substituted for 12 months of the specialized experience requirement. This experience demonstres particular competencies of knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Knowledge of social work theories, principles, techniques, and resources. Must have specialized experience in professional social work th includes interviewing people to establish the nure and extent of their problems, helping them work-out plans for improving the situion, providing assistance and services, referring them to community resources and other organizions as indiced, and assisting them to understand and modify their own pterns of behavior when approprie. Except as sted above, no other substitution of educion for specialized experience is allowed. In addition, knowledge of social work theories, principles, techniques, and resources is mandory. Other specialized experience th equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and th is typically in or reled to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupion.
