Are you passionate about helping adolescents navigate the complexities of middle school? As a School-Based Case Manager at McPherson Middle School , you will be the bridge between clinical support and the classroom. You'll work directly with students (ages 11-14) and their families to build resilience, teach life skills, and provide the advocacy they need to succeed.
What You'll Do:
Be a Champion for
Students:
Provide strengths-based outreach and crisis intervention directly within the school environment.
Build Essential Skills:
Teach problem-solving and life skills to help students manage the unique social and emotional challenges of the middle school years. Collaborate for
Success:
Partner with teachers, clinicians, and families to ensure student treatment plans are effective and integrated.
Navigate Resources:
Link families with vital community resources and advocate for students' rights and safety.
What You Bring:
A Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health science field. The ability to connect with adolescents and understand the "why" behind their behavior. Strong listening and communication skills (verbal and written). A valid Kansas Driver's License and a commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Flexibility and a "team-player" mindset to meet the needs of our families.
